Association Rules

WELCOME TO ESTRELLA DEL MAR
While you are here, please be aware of the following rules which apply to owners as well as guests.
1. PETS • Pets are allowed only by homeowners. • All owners must be diligent about cleaning up after their pets. • Under no circumstances are pets allowed in the pool area.
2. POOL • The pool is available between the hours of 8:00 am and 10:30pm only. • Children up to age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. • Street clothes are not to be worn in the pool. • No glass in the pool area at any time. • Headphones must be used with portable music devices.
3. TERRACES • Bathing suits, towels, personal clothing, etc. are not to be hung over the railings. • Be careful when watering planters to avoid water pouring down to your neighbor below.
4. NOISE • We must remember that this is primarily a residence, not a hotel. Please be courteous. • Social gatherings on the balconies must be moved indoors after 11:00pm to reduce noise and music levels.
5. TRASH • Trash is to be placed in the large trash cans located on the landing outside the pool pump room (at the top of the staircase to the street below the building). • Trash may be placed outside your front door between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00am (except for Sunday) and the maintenance person will collect it. • Please make sure your bags are not leaking.
6. PARKING • Parking spaces are assigned. Use only your designated space. • Alternative arrangements may be approved by a Board Member.
7. GUESTS • Occupancy is limited to the number of beds in the unit. • Sub-leasing by guests is not permitted.
8. GUEST ROOMS • It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure that the guest rooms are cleaned thoroughly after use. Sheets must be laundered. • Owners must provide their own towels. • Guest rooms shall be reserved only through the Administrator and time is limited to one week minimum/maximum unless no one else has placed a request.
9. REMODELING / REPAIRS TO UNITS • All remodeling and projects by the owners must be approved by the Board and Administrator. • Hours are limited to 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Saturday. • At the discretion of the Board, remodeling projects may be limited to off season (summer).
10. OWNERS/GUESTS • All complaints must be directed to the Administrator and Board of Directors.
11. SECURITY • To ensure the safety of the residents, all entrances to the common areas must be locked at all times.
